§ 1604. Organization of pesticide control board. 1. The chairman of the board shall be the commissioner of health.

- pesticide: means any substance or mixture of substances intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any insect, rodent, fungi, weeds, or other forms of plant or animal life or viruses, except viruses on or in living man or animals. See N.Y. Public Health Law 1602
2. The board shall appoint an executive secretary who shall act as the administrative agent of the board, keep a record of all meetings of the board and perform such other functions and duties as the board may direct.
3. The board may make and adopt by-laws to regulate its proceedings.
