* § 3398-p. New York hemp product. The commissioner may establish and adopt official grades and standards for cannabinoid hemp, hemp extract and products derived therefrom, as he or she may deem advisable, which are produced for sale in this state and, from time to time, may amend or modify such grades and standards.
Terms Used In N.Y. Public Health Law 3398-P
- Cannabinoid: means the phytocannabinoids found in hemp and does not include synthetic cannabinoids as that term is defined in subdivision (g) of schedule I of section thirty-three hundred six of this chapter. See N.Y. Public Health Law 3398
- Hemp: means the plant Cannabis sativa L. See N.Y. Public Health Law 3398
- Hemp extract: means all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers derived from hemp, used or intended for human consumption, for its cannabinoid content, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than an amount determined by the department in regulation.
