Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 111-47.3

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3

Notwithstanding any other provision of this Article, the Department of State Treasurer may operate or contract for the operation of food or vending services at Department of State Treasurer offices. The net proceeds of revenue generated by food and vending services that are provided at the Department of State Treasurer by the agency or a vendor with whom the agency has contracted shall be credited to the Division of Services for the Blind of the Department of Health and Human Services for the purposes specified in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 111-43 (2015-164, s. 2.)
