Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 116-312
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. This Article applies to alleged acts or omissions occurring on or after the issuance of the COVID-19 emergency declaration until June 1, 2020. The provisions of this Article shall be in addition to all other immunities provided by applicable State law. (2020-70, s. 1.)
