Employee personnel records of a district health department shall have the same protections from disclosure as county employee personnel records under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-98 For the purposes of this section, the local health director shall perform the duties assigned to the county manager pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-98 and the district board of health shall perform the duties assigned to the county board of commissioners pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-98 (1983, c. 891, s. 2.)
