Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 14-251
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-247 to 14-250 shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor. Nothing in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-247 through 14-251 shall apply to the purchase, use or upkeep or expense account of the car for the executive mansion and the Governor.
