Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 143-135.27
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. As used in this Article, “State capital improvement project” means the construction of and any alteration, renovation, or addition to State buildings, as defined in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-336, for which State funds, as defined in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143C-1-1, are used and which is required by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-129 to be publicly advertised.
