Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 143B-1375
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. Confidentiality. – No data of a confidential nature, as defined in the General Statutes or federal law, may be entered into or processed through any information technology system or network established under this Article until safeguards for the data’s security satisfactory to the State CIO have been designed and installed and are fully operational. This section does not affect the provisions of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-64.6 or N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-64.7 (2015-241, s. 7A.2(b).)
