Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 147-68.1
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The cost of administration, management, and operations of the banking operations of the Department of State Treasurer shall be apportioned and paid equitably among the funds and programs using these services, in a manner prescribed by the State Treasurer. To the extent not otherwise chargeable directly to the income or assets of a specific fund or program, the cost of administration, management and operations of the banking operations of the Department of State Treasurer shall be paid from the income and assets of the funds and programs using these services.
