Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 163-132.5D
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The Executive Director of the State Board of Elections shall retain the maps and written descriptions which he approves pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 163-132.3 (1991 (Reg. Sess., 1992), c. 927, s. 1; 2001-319, s. 11; 2017-6, s. 3; 2018-146, s. 3.1(a), (b).)
