Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 20-351.11
- Manufacturer: means any person or corporation, resident or nonresident, who manufactures or assembles or imports or distributes new motor vehicles which are sold in the State of North Carolina. See North Carolina General Statutes 20-351.1
- Motor vehicle: includes a motor vehicle as defined in N. See North Carolina General Statutes 20-351.1
- New motor vehicle: means a motor vehicle for which a certificate of origin, as required by N. See North Carolina General Statutes 20-351.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. Every new motor vehicle purchased by the State that is designed to operate on diesel fuel shall be covered by an express manufacturer‘s warranty that allows the use of B-20 fuel, as defined in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-58.4 This section does not apply if the intended use, as determined by the agency, of the new motor vehicle requires a type of vehicle for which an express manufacturer’s warranty allows the use of B-20 fuel is not available.
