(a) If the terms of a trust do not specify the trustee‘s compensation, a trustee is entitled to compensation determined in accordance with Article 6 of Chapter 32 of the N.C. Gen. Stat..

(b) If the terms of a trust specify the trustee’s compensation, the trustee is entitled to be compensated as specified. (2005-192, s. 2.)
