Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 58-16-55
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
Any change in or amendment to any document required to be filed under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 58-16-5 shall be promptly filed with the Commissioner. (1989, c. 485, s. 49.)
