Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 58-30-280
- property: shall include all property, both real and personal. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The Commissioner in his sole discretion may institute proceedings under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 58-30-60 through 58-30-70 at the request of the insurance regulator of the domiciliary state of any foreign or alien insurer having property located in this State. (1989, c. 452, s. 1.)
