- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. Any insurer soliciting life insurance in this State on or after December 1, 1979, shall adopt and use a Buyer’s Guide, and the adoption and use by an insurer of the Buyer’s Guide promulgated by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners in the NAIC Model Life Insurance Solicitation Regulations shall be in compliance with the requirements of this Part.
