Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 65-52
- Cemetery: means any one or a combination of more than one of the following in a place used or to be used and dedicated or designated for cemetery purposes:
- Commission: means the North Carolina Cemetery Commission. See North Carolina General Statutes 65-48
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
The Cemetery Commission shall meet at least once in each quarter and may hold special meetings at any time and place within the State at the call of the chairman or upon the written request of at least four members. (1975, c. 768, s. 1.)
