This Article does not affect the authority of a county or city to impose additional requirements on peddlers, itinerant merchants, specialty market vendors, or specialty market operators by an ordinance adopted under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-125 or N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A-178 (1996, 2nd Ex. Sess., c. 14, s. 24.)
