Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 75-127

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3

A person who violates N.C. Gen. Stat. § 75-126 is liable to the State for a civil penalty of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000) nor more than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) per violation, which civil penalty shall be in addition to any other relief which may be granted under other applicable laws. Each performance or production in violation of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 75-126 shall constitute a separate violation. (2009-284, s. 1.)
