Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 84-39

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. Each member shall provide a mailing address, phone number, and email address to the secretary-treasurer of the State Bar to be that member’s contact information of record with the court, pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 1A-1, Rule 5. Contact information provided by the member pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 84-34 shall be used for this purpose unless the member provides different contact information to the secretary-treasurer of the State Bar for compliance with this section.
