Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 90-28.5

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. If the Governor declares a state of emergency or a county or municipality enacts ordinances under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-121, 160A-174, 166A-19.31, or Article 22 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. Gen. Stat., the North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners may waive the requirements of this Article and Article 16 of this Chapter to permit the provision of dental and dental hygiene services to the public during the state of emergency.
