Each applicant shall be issued a license by the Board to engage in the practice of behavior analysis as a licensed behavior analyst if the applicant meets the qualifications set forth by the Board in accordance with N.C. Gen. Stat. § 90-734(a) and provides satisfactory evidence to the Board of all the following criteria:

(1) The applicant is at least 18 years of age.

(2) The applicant has passed the certifying entity’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination.

(3) The applicant has an active status with the certifying entity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. (2021-22, s. 1(a).)
