Donee: The recipient of a gift.
Donor: The person who makes a gift.
Executor: A male person named in a will to carry out the decedent
Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
property: shall include all property, both real and personal. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
Revocable trust: A trust agreement that can be canceled, rescinded, revoked, or repealed by the grantor (person who establishes the trust).
state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
