Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes > Chapter 99E > Article 2 - Roller Skating Rink Safety and Liability
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- Operator: means a person or entity who owns, manages, controls, or directs, or who has operational responsibility for a roller skating rink. See North Carolina General Statutes 99E-10
- Roller skater: includes any individual in the roller skating rink who is an invitee, whether or not this individual pays consideration. See North Carolina General Statutes 99E-10
- Roller skating rink: means a building, facility, or premises that provide an area specifically designed to be used by the public for recreational or competitive roller skating. See North Carolina General Statutes 99E-10
- Spectator: means an individual who is present in a roller skating rink only for the purpose of observing recreational or competitive roller skating. See North Carolina General Statutes 99E-10
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
