An appeal denying an application for a license to operate a medical hospital or related institution, or suspending or revoking a license, or denying an application for a construction project must be taken to the office of administrative hearings in the manner provided in chapter 28-32.

- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
