A challenge is an objection made to the trial jurors and is of two kinds:
Terms Used In North Dakota Code 29-17-15
- Individual: means a human being. See North Dakota Code 1-01-49
- Juror: A person who is on the jury.
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
1. To the panel; and
2. To an individual juror.
