Enlisted members of the national guard removing from one location to another in this state may be transferred from one unit to another within the same organization upon recommendations of the respective unit commanders concerned and approval of the commanding officer of the organization. Transfers between organizations will be made only upon the approval of the adjutant general.
Terms Used In North Dakota Code 37-07-04
- National guard: means that part of the military forces of this state which is organized, equipped, and federally recognized under the provisions of the National Defense Act, as amended, of the United States as the "national guard, air national guard, of the United States and the state of North Dakota". - Organization: includes a foreign or domestic association, business trust, corporation, enterprise, estate, joint venture, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, limited partnership, partnership, trust, or any legal or commercial entity. See North Dakota Code 1-01-49
