No person, in connection with any examination or investigation conducted by the superintendent of financial institutions under this chapter, shall knowingly do any of the following:

- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Person: means an individual, sole proprietorship, corporation, company, limited liability company, partnership, limited liability partnership, trust, or association. See Ohio Code 1322.01
- Superintendent of financial institutions: includes the deputy superintendent for consumer finance as provided in section 1181. See Ohio Code 1322.01
(A) Circumvent, interfere with, obstruct, or fail to cooperate, including making a false or misleading statement, failing to produce records, or intimidating or suborning any witness;
(B) Tamper with, alter, or manufacture any evidence;
(C) Withhold, abstract, remove, mutilate, destroy, or secrete any books, records, computer records, or other information.
