In civil actions founded upon a bond or undertaking, a judge of a county court has jurisdiction coextensive with his county.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 1907.08
- Bond: includes an undertaking. See Ohio Code 1.02
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
