Terms Used In Ohio Code 2712.15

  • Arbitration: means any arbitration, whether or not administered by a permanent arbitral institution. See Ohio Code 2712.01
  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • Court: means a body or an organ of the judicial system of a state. See Ohio Code 2712.01
  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
  • Party: means a party to an arbitration or conciliation agreement. See Ohio Code 2712.01

(A) An order of attachment issued to assure that the award to which the applicant may be entitled is not rendered ineffectual by the dissipation of party assets;

(B) A preliminary injunction granted to protect trade secrets or to conserve goods that are the subject matter of the arbitral dispute.
