To the extent permitted by federal law, the department of education and workforce shall include college-preparatory boarding schools established under this chapter in its annual allocation of federal moneys under Title I of the “Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965,” 20 U.S.C. § 6301, et seq. The department may apply for any other federal moneys that may be used to support the operations of college-preparatory boarding schools established under this chapter.
