Except as otherwise provided in this section, all final actions of a convention facilities authority shall be journalized and such journal and the records of the authority, including but not limited to records relating to the terms of any lease of all or a part of a facility, and the terms of any contract authorizing or governing the sale of concessions within the facility, shall be open to public inspection at all reasonable times. Any records or proprietary information relating to lessees or other users that may be obtained by the authority or other persons acting under this chapter are confidential and shall not be disclosed.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 351.24
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Convention facilities authority: means a body corporate and politic created pursuant to section 351. See Ohio Code 351.01
- facilities: means any convention, entertainment, or sports facility, or combination of them, located within the territory of the convention facilities authority, together with all hotels, parking facilities, walkways, and other auxiliary facilities, real and personal property, property rights, easements and interests that may be appropriate for, or used in connection with, the operation of the facility. - Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
