All appointments by the governor to the authority are subject to the advice and consent of the senate.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 4164.053
- Advice and consent: Under the Constitution, presidential nominations for executive and judicial posts take effect only when confirmed by the Senate, and international treaties become effective only when the Senate approves them by a two-thirds vote.
- authority: means the Ohio nuclear development authority created and constituted under section 4164. See Ohio Code 4164.01
