To enhance the administration, delivery, and effectiveness of family services duties and workforce development activities, the chief elected official of a municipal corporation that is a local area for the purpose of Chapter 6301 of the Revised Code may enter into a regional plan of cooperation with one or more boards of county commissioners pursuant to section 307.984 of the Revised Code. A regional plan of cooperation must specify how the private and government entities subject to the plan will coordinate and enhance the administration, delivery, and effectiveness of family services duties and workforce development activities.
