§ 10-124. Military voting; state board of elections; regulatory powers. 1. The state board of elections is hereby authorized to take such steps and do such things as, in its opinion, are necessary to make effective the provisions of any other legislation, in order to utilize fully any federal or other facilities in the distribution of military ballots. The state board of elections shall have power to adopt and promulgate orders or regulations adopting, with respect to the military voters of this state, the provisions of that legislation.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

2. The state board of elections shall be responsible for providing information regarding voter registration procedures and ballot procedures applicable to military and special federal voters wishing to register or vote in any jurisdiction of the state.
