- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
107.707 was added to and made a part of 107.700 to 107.735 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
