(1) A local supervisory authority, in consultation with a local domestic violence coordinating council recognized by this state or a county, may periodically review batterers’ intervention programs located within the jurisdiction of the local supervisory authority for compliance with rules promulgated under ORS § 180.700.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(2) If a review is completed under subsection (1) of this section, a copy of the review shall be sent by the local supervisory authority to the presiding judge and the district attorney for the county in which the local supervisory authority operates. [2001 c.634 § 2]
