(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, this chapter modifies, limits and supersedes the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 194.440

  • Electronic: means relating to technology having electrical, digital, magnetic, wireless, optical, electromagnetic or similar capabilities. See Oregon Statutes 194.215

(2) This chapter does not:

(a) Modify, limit or supersede section 101(c) of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7001(c); or

(b) Authorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in section 103(b) of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7003(b). [2013 c.219 § 50]
