(1) The Land Conservation and Development Commission shall select one of its members as chairperson and another member as vice chairperson, for such terms and with duties and powers necessary for the performance of the functions of such offices as the commission determines. The vice chairperson of the commission shall act as the chairperson of the commission in the absence of the chairperson.

(2) A majority of the members of the commission constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
(3) Members of the commission are entitled to compensation and expenses as provided in ORS § 292.495. [1973 c.80 7,8]
