Any interested person who is a landowner within the district or an elector registered in the district may petition the district board to adopt, amend or repeal an ordinance. Any such person may appear at any regular meeting of the board and shall be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard. [1971 c.268 § 9; 1983 c.83 § 6]

- district: means any one of the following:
(1) A people's utility district organized under ORS Chapter 261. See Oregon Statutes 198.010
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
