When a change of the boundaries of a city through the annexation of territory is proposed pursuant to ORS § 199.410 to 199.519, or 222.111 to 222.180 or city charter, the assessor of the county or counties wherein the territory to be annexed is located, shall furnish upon official request within 20 days, a statement showing for the current fiscal year the assessed valuation of the taxable property in the territory to be annexed. - City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
