Entries of payments of installments, interest and late payment penalties or charges, made under the Bancroft Bonding Act, shall be made in the lien docket as they are received, with the date of payment. The payments so made and entered shall discharge the lien to the amount of the payment and from the date of the payment. [Amended by 1991 c.902 § 23; 1995 c.709 § 3; 1997 c.840 § 3]
