Oregon Statutes 223.705 – Rebonding of unpaid assessments
Subject to the prior approval of the governing body of the local government, the owner of any property assessed for local improvements under state law or under the charter of any local government, and in cases where a final assessment for local improvement has been bonded and entered in the bond lien docket as authorized by ORS § 223.205 and 223.210 to 223.295 or the charter and the bonded assessment has not been fully paid, may file with the auditor, clerk or other officer charged with the keeping of records of the local government an application for rebonding the original assessment in the amount due and unpaid thereon. The auditor, clerk or other officer charged with keeping the records of the local government may accept these applications. If there is more than one final assessment on the same piece of property, the owner may combine them in one application. [Amended by 1991 c.902 § 77; 2003 c.802 § 51]
