Oregon Statutes 243.057 – Role of executive director
(1) The executive director of the Public Employees’ Benefit Board shall also serve as the executive director of the Oregon Educators Benefit Board.
(2) The executive director shall combine administrative functions and operations of the Public Employees’ Benefit Board and the Oregon Educators Benefit Board to the greatest extent practicable to avoid duplication of effort and to promote efficiency, to the extent the combination of functions and operations is consistent with applicable law and administrative rule.
(3) At least once each year, the executive director shall report to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to health on the status of the merger of the functions and operations of the boards and actions taken by the executive director to carry out the plan developed under section 25, chapter 746, Oregon Laws 2017.
