(1) The effective date of a voter registration updated under ORS § 247.292 is the date on which the county clerk receives evidence of the change of residence or mailing address.

- County clerk: means the county clerk or the county official in charge of elections. See Oregon Statutes 247.002
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
