Oregon Statutes 25.505 – Authority of administrator and administrative law judge; rules
(1) In any individual case, commencing with the payment of public assistance, with the application for enforcement services under ORS § 25.080 by an individual not receiving public assistance or upon receipt of a written request for enforcement of a support obligation from the state agency of another state responsible for administering the federal child support enforcement program, the administrator may take action under ORS § 25.501 to 25.556. The administrator and, as appropriate, the administrative law judge, may establish, modify and terminate support orders, require health care coverage for dependent children, establish paternity and collect child support.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 25.505
- Dependent: A person dependent for support upon another.
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
