When a fire prevention code has been adopted as provided in ORS § 264.342, no person shall violate the provisions of the code or fail to remove hazards found on inspection within the time set by the inspecting officer, after written notice to either the owner or occupant of such premises, or burn waste materials or trash in an unguarded manner without a permit, if a permit is required by the code.
