Oregon Statutes 264.360 – Cooperative agreements; bonding power
(1) Districts may enter into cooperative agreements with each other providing for the joint acquisition, construction, ownership, use or control of facilities for the collection, treatment, distribution or supply of water.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 264.360
- District: means a domestic water supply district formed under this chapter. See Oregon Statutes 264.010
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
(2) Each district may issue and sell general obligation, revenue or refunding bonds, subject to the limitations and procedures contained or referred to in this chapter for the authorization, issuance or sale of such bonds, for the purpose of paying its share of the cost of the acquisition or construction of facilities provided for in cooperative agreements authorized by this section.
