Unless otherwise provided by law, all deeds and conveyances belonging to the state must be documented in the office of the Department of State Lands. Upon the sale, acquisition or exchange of any real property belonging to the state, an electronic copy of the instrument that conveys the property must be filed with the department by the officer or agency in charge of the sale, acquisition or exchange.   • Department: means the Department of State Lands. See Oregon Statutes 273.006
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
