Oregon Statutes 291.215 – Governors budget to include amount for deferred maintenance and capital improvements
(1) Each biennium, the Governor shall propose as part of the Governor’s recommended budget an amount for deferred maintenance and capital improvements on existing state-owned buildings and infrastructure that is equivalent to at least two percent of the current replacement value of the state-owned buildings and infrastructure.
(2) As used in this section, ‘state-owned buildings and infrastructure’ does not include:
(a) Buildings and infrastructure owned by or for the use of a public university listed in ORS § 352.002 or a community college as defined in ORS § 341.005; or
(b) Transportation infrastructure, including roads and bridges. [2017 c.746 § 9]
