Oregon Statutes 327.548 – Hunger Free Schools Account
(1) The Hunger Free Schools Account is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund.

- State Treasury: includes those financial assets the lawful custody of which are vested in the State Treasurer and the office of the State Treasurer relating to the custody of those financial assets. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
(2) Moneys in the Hunger Free Schools Account are continuously appropriated to the Department of Education for the purpose of making reimbursements to school districts under ORS § 327.545. [2019 c.122 § 32]
327.548 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS Chapter 327 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
